I went to LV on Monday. (In Hawaii) The sales told me this information as I checked w/her last week about special order`s information. ^^

LV special order in Hawaii:

No deposit

20% more the regular product. (For example Monogram style --> special order Damier line.)

I am glad to know this information can save your money. ^__^

Thank you so much! I am currently in Florida. I wish the sales representative here will tell me about this info too. Last weekend I went to the Louis Vuitton store at Bal Harbor and ask about Special Order. I wish they had said something, but they didn`t mention a word! Wouldn`t it be very annoy if you special order something (paying 20% more) and then later on found out that it`s coming out in a month selling at a much cheaper price?

I guess the sales doesn`t know about next year`s product until they place an order on the system and find out this issue. Because Damier Speedy was available to order when they checked last week. Then, she found out this information this week.

The message I send to you is regarding Damier Looping.

I have no idea about Damier Looping. (Let me know if you want to check LV) But LV sales did mention that customer complain the round handle is not comfortable when you do carry some stuff in the bag.

Looping is a classic handbag! ^___^

Good morning! You serious? Decrease by 5%? wowwww, so unfair. We`re still the same price. I was reading this thread last night mentioning that Damier Papillon 30 used to be $585 two years ago. O_O

Yeah, I can imagine the handle will be uncomfortable if you put more stuff inside. Looping is quite popular in U.S but not in Taiwan. Thanks for lettting me know. Now I need to reconsider if I really should get a special order :)

I wonder why Hawaii has difference pricing than mainland. Eluxury is tax free and sometimes offer free-shipping, so it`s not bad compared to some cities with 7.5% shipping -_-;;;

I guess just like you mention -- eluxury is tax free and somethimes free shipping. After 4.167% tax included, price is quite comparative.

Yes, LV`s major customer in Hawaii is Japanese tourist. But Chanel and Dior closed store in Maui two years ago.
