1) Plot the Gaussian distibution for the following parameters (in the same plot):
a. μ(mean)= 18, σ(standard deviation)= 2
b. μ(mean)= 18, σ(standard deviation)= 4
c. μ(mean)= 18, σ(standard deviation)= 6
2) What is the probabilities when random variable falls in μ± 1*σ and μ± 2*σ? Please calculate the corresponding value and mark the values (i.e. μ± 1*σ andμ± 2*σ) in the plot for all cases in (a.), (b.), (c.) as in (1).
3) What is the probabilities when random variable falls outside of μ± 1*σ andμ± 2*σ? Please calculate the corresponding value and mark the region (i.e. μ± 1*σ andμ± 2*σ) in the plot for all cases in (a.), (b.), (c.) as in (1).
4) Given that the probability of a random variable falling inside of μ± a is 0.9. Then find “a” for all cases in (a.), (b.), (c.) as in (1),
