Yes, there is a Taiwanese club in Ichigaya, but I am not sure if it still exists this semester…
Since you have been studying the US for awhile now, you should know that we, Taiwanese, are not very “cohesive”…
There are quite a few Taiwanese people in Ichigaya, but everyone has their own friends and life after school.
Anyways, Taiwanese in Ichigaya don’t speak really good Japanese, but they are mostly fluent in English.
The reason I went to join the Chinese club in Yotsuya is because those Chinese at Yotsuya are mostly fluent in Japanese
(they have to get level 1 on JLPT exam in order to get accepted by Sophia).
I don’t think you have to take a test to get into one of those circles…
I did not have to at least. Heheheh, I am going to play tennis tomorrow with the tennis club that I joined!
Me so excited!
The registration process is a bit different at Sophia. On the 12th, you can stop by the classes that you intend to take.
And once you have seen a few, you can decide which one you will end up taking. The last step is the actual registration.
If you don’t get into the classes that you want to take, you can ask the professor to sign you in.
