什麼東西啊~~真是糟糕耶，放寬了三聚氰胺的檢驗標準~~那根本就不該存在在食品裡的成份，政府是想聯合大陸來毒殺老百姓嗎??

可以請他先把2.5ppm的毒奶粉發放行政院各單位及總統和副總統,請他們喝三個月,照三餐喝,沒事,再離職嗎?

Melamine(三氯氰胺)  到底是什麼  (更新歐盟資料)     
   
如果不知道這個是什麼的，可以回想一個去年的新聞，就是美國狗狗吃了中國的飼料死掉的事情，大家大概還隱約有印象，是急性腎衰竭死掉的，但是沒有人去仔細關心到底是什麼東西，沒錯就是Melamine的兄弟產物，之後美國FDA發了一個報告，調查美國的食物含有Melamine的狀況，對英文還OK的一定要看這份報告。看完以後覺得有點全身毛骨悚然，發現可能只能吃蔬菜水果了，如果飼料有的話，豬肉、魚肉、雞蛋、雞可能都有關係，不過美國的食品初步驗的狀況還不錯，這些食物的含量幾乎是沒有，台灣的衛生署的官員不知道有沒有讀到這篇，台灣跟中國太接近了，照這樣看，台灣全部的食品可能都要檢驗。


美國FDA報告  裡面有非常完整的報告，化學結構式、毒物資料等等。



Melamine  and  melamine  analogues  (cyanuric  acid,  ammelide  and  ammeline)  are  assumed  to  be  of  equal  potency  and  will  be  referred  to  collectively  in  this  assessment  as  melamine  compounds  (MC).  While  it  is  entirely  possible  that  the  analogues  are  more  or  less  potent  than  the  parent  compound,  melamine,  we  have  no  information  that  assesses  the  relative  potency  of  the  three  analogues  as  compared  to  melamine;  therefore,  for  the  purpose  of  this  interim  assessment,  we  have  made  an  assumption  of  equal  potency.  It  has  been  hypothesized  that  melamine  may  interact  synergistically  with  its  three  analogues,  but  no  studies  have  been  conducted  that  specifically  test  this  hypothesis.

主文最有一段有提到目前可接受劑量的算法，正常其實是根本不該有的東西，要不是被中國逼了，歐盟跟FDA才不會出這種東西，勉強提出可接受劑量這樣的說法。

Margins  of  Safety  and  Levels  of  Concern  for  Melamine  Compounds

The  point  of  departure  (POD)  is  the  NOAEL  of  63  mg/kg/day  from  the  rodent  subchronic  bioassay.  This  POD  was  then  divided  by  two  10-fold  safety/uncertainty  factors  (SF/UF)  to  account  for  inter-  and  intra-species  sensitivity,  for  a  total  SF/UF  of  100.  The  resulting  Tolerable  Daily  Intake  (TDI)  is  0.63  mg/kg  bw/day.  The  TDI  is  defined  as  the  estimated  maximum  amount  of  an  agent  to  which  individuals  in  a  population  may  be  exposed  daily  over  their  lifetimes  without  an  appreciable  health  risk  with  respect  to  the  endpoint  from  which  the  NOAEL  is  calculated. 


我化學不是很佳，如果我沒記錯  0.63mg/kg  bw/day  應該是0.63  ppm/  bw/day(1ppm=百萬分之一)  吧，台灣衛生署公布的2.5  ppm是美國標準的好幾倍吧。

In  conclusion,  EFSA  provisionally  recommends  to  apply  a  TDI  of  0.5  mg/kg  b.w.  per 
day  for  the  total  of  melamine  and  its  analogues  (ammeline,  ammelide,  cyanuric  acid). 
Because  of  a  lack  of  toxicity  data  in  domestic  animals,  EFSA  provisionally  recommends 
to  apply  this  tolerable  intake  level  as  established  for  humans  also  to  domestic  animals. 

所以我們可以知道歐盟的標準是0.5  ppm/bw/day

Melamine  and  Cyanuric  Acid  Interaction  May  Play  Part  in  Illness  and  Death  from  Recalled  Pet  Food 

前面幾段:

Tests  conducted  on  contaminated  pet  food  and  necropsies  from  affected  animals  have  resulted  in  a  new  theory  to  explain  how  animals  are  being  adversely  affected  by  contaminated  pet  foods.  A  chemical  reaction  between  melamine  and  cyanuric  acid  is  suspected  of  forming  crystals  and  blocking  kidney  function. 

The  investigation  into  contaminated  pet  food  has  focused  on  melamine  contamination  of  ingredients  imported  from  China,  such  as  wheat  gluten,  rice  protein  concentrate  and  corn  gluten  (imported  into  South  Africa).  It  is  now  believed  that  cyanuric  acid,  as  well  as  melamine,  has  been  found  in  urine  samples  from  animals  that  died.

Analysis  of  the  crystals  in  the  kidneys  of  affected  animals  have  revealed  that  they  are  approximately  70  percent  cyanuric  acid  and  30  percent  melamine,  and  are  extremely  insoluble.  Furthermore,  tests  mixing  melamine  and  cyanuric  acid  in  samples  of  cat  urine  resulted  in  almost  immediate  formation  of  crystals  that  were  identical  to  crystals  found  in  the  kidneys  of  affected  animals.  Two  other  melamine-  related  substances—ammelide  and  ammeline—may  also  play  roles  and  are  under  investigation. 

這樣就瞭解了吧，家裡有養動物的或是還有力氣想關心動物的，趕快把你家動物吃的食物拿去驗吧。

從美國FDA在寵物死亡事件之後，主動調查其他相關食物並發布相關資訊來看，美國政府的反應，還蠻值得稱讚的。

另外可以對比看加拿大之前發生的bisphenol-a水壺事件和美國目前對這件事的處理反應，加拿大政府對一個目前只有動物實驗報告還沒有臨床報告的物質，衛生部就決定要禁止下架了，這個決定讓很多人覺得有點倉促，不過卻可以看到公務員認真找文獻的程度和政府對人民健康的用心，  美國FDA  9/23號發布的聲明(有網友也有轉貼)  裡面提到

At  the  same  time,  the  FDA—in  conjunction  with  state  and  local  officials—began  a  nation-wide  investigation  to  check  Asian  markets  for  Chinese  manufactured  infant  formula  that  may  have  been  brought  into  the  United  States.  In  particular,  this  effort  focused  on  areas  of  the  country  with  large  Chinese  communities,  such  as  Los  Angeles,  San  Francisco,  Seattle  and  New  York.  To  date,  investigators  have  visited  more  than  1,000  retail  markets  and  have  not  found  Chinese  infant  formula  present  on  shelves  in  these  markets. 

美國大概發布10天左右，已經檢查了1000家以上，看來，美加的人命真的是比較值錢。
