PARIS (AFP) — The Gucci Group announced that women`s wear creative director Alessandra Facchinetti had quit the company amid a dispute and would be replaced by Frida Giannini.
Facchinetti, who joined the company in 2000 and was only appointed head of the women`s ready-to-wear division a year ago, "was leaving the company after a disagreement with the management," the statement said.
Giannini would also keep her responsibility for the group`s accessories, a statement from the world`s third largest luxury enterprise said.
