My name is Janice. I live in Shi-Lien. I`m 22 years old. I work in my daytime and go to school in the night. In fact, my major is English, but I afraid to admit this. I`m not confident of my Englush. I`m glad here will be a place to practice our English.

well, I`m not sure if I can get my paycheck even I have sent 存證信函 to my president yesterday. I`m do worrying about it. Also, I do really get angry with his attitude indeed.
Tomorrow, I will join new company, however, we seem can get one day off `cause of typhoon.
ha....not bad.

Besides, I might can`t get this website that often `cause I`m not sure if my new company allow us to get this kind of website or not. However, I will tell all of u if I get my paycheck.

Did you join an English study group already?It`s a good idea to increase your ability of speaking English. I should have entered an English cram school in Taiwan......Although there are many Chinese or Taiwanese in LA, my poor listening comprehension still makes me depressed when I answer a phone from an American. I hope I can speak fluent English in the future and watch all American TV shows without subtitle.

I moved to the United States because my husband was transfered to another department of his company. He had studied for three years in U.S. before, so there was no problem of him to communicate with American. He told me it took about one year to get used to speaking English . But the chances of a housewife to speak English are few.

You major in English?I envy you! I also envy all the native speakers of English! I was afraid of speaking English initially. But now, I "have to" speak English. No matter how many mistakes I made in grammar or words, the Americans understand what I said.So I have the courage to speak English now. Never be afraid of making mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. ^^

Your problem is that you are so shy. I think a four-year training of English is enough. I try to make friends with Koreans first. Because there are a lot of Koreans in our community. Since we both are Asians, there is no racial discrimination between us. Most Americans have racial discrimination so I treat them politely but I won`t make friends with them. .

There is a great singer also named "Chloe" who sings " Walking in the air". I bought her album about 1-2 years ago and listened to her music all day long at that time. BTW, what a coincidence!My husband used to study in Boston, too. He finished his MBA course in Boston University. It is a beatiful place, isn`t it? But it is really cold there in winter( -10C).
