wait...so US 12 is more like XXL lol...

看到前面新人的留言﹐ 應該要自我介紹一下。

我也是台灣人﹐ 只是18歲就移民到新加坡了。間中我又去澳洲讀了兩年的書。現在我在一家美國的軟體公司工作。平時的我有時間喜歡到處旅行﹐ 對流行時尚佷有興趣。每次都從這裡得到佷多新知識。

新加坡很小﹐ 不像美國或歐洲的生活這麼多姿多彩。不過如果你們有機會來新加坡﹐ 我還是可以介紹你們一些值得一游的地方。

不知道是否可以加入你們這個大家庭呢﹖

今年Thanksgiving出奇的沒去Woodbury,不單只是人多+停車位難找,事實也就像Caitlin J所說的越難挖到寶了!其實多注意Bergdorf, Saks and Blooms的Sale Events,不難買到比Outlet還便宜且Up-to-Date merchandize.目前很期待12月份的到來!

之前Luxe提到的Cruise`05 Gisele w/ leather hearts and horse head charms,就同樣尺寸比較,價格多100美金.Not sure why just one little horse head detail makes this much difference.售貨員也被lovej問的答不出話.不過,Luella售價將於明年調漲,據說是因為歐元走勢上漲.

整個Thanksgiving Holiday (starts from Thur to Sun),lovej就只去了Americana at Manhasset.正因為各大名牌店聚集在此,加上No sale,相信這是所有Malls當中最沒Holiday氣氛的吧!只能感嘆Long Island的有錢人不在乎所謂的折扣不折扣!至於H&M還有Karl Lagerfeld作品,倒是沒注意到,還以為早被搶購一空 :(

About Chanel "Private" Sales,真難想像幾十元美金就可購得一只包!

just for your information, i`ve seen the manolo pair you search for in black in Barney`s, Manhasset but not in sale.

also saw Balenciaga Le Dix in Metallic Orange/Pink. Totally agree the color are too "shiny". Definitely too hard to match daily outfit.

我今天受到 the private sale mail-ins, here are the dates for each:

ysl: december 3

gucci: december 6

chanel: december 6-8, but its VERY private, so by invitation only. (babycinnamon, you can try to go at it! *smile*)

bottega veneta: november 29 --今天, 我已經大買了...:)

neiman marcus: pre-sale for designer goods are on now

saks fifth ave: following the sale of thanksgiving, MORE sales!

還有一些, 可是我現在想不起來..

anyways, 大家趕快去!!*~

不過住在美國的人也不是有那麼多機會遇到luxe說的 big sale.

thanx for the preciouss info about all those private sales !! (making my shopping list again right now :P)

which Vuitton pump you got?? I`m used to wearing high heels all the time so I don`t think I`ll have problem with my Vuitton heels hehe, well I`m only 5`4 :P
is your pump on the vuitton website?
I`m really into shoe shopping recently too, although I`ve never worn most of my shoes to school cuz I don`t ruin them haha

謝謝你的回應。正在猶豫不決該不該在不清不出的情況下就買了它。但想想﹐ 一件100多美金的牛仔褲如買回來不合穿就浪費了。 Anyway, Tks a lot!

看到大家都已開始安排年底的假期﹐ 真是羨慕﹐ 而且在美國還能去滑雪﹐ 不像新加坡﹐ 整年都是夏季﹐ 真懷念冬天的感覺﹐穿著美麗的大衣和靴子﹐現在這些都只能看不能買。現在連出國旅行都儘量往涼快的地方去。希望過年前能回台灣一趟﹐享受一下真正過年的氣氛。

快期末考了,看到這麼多sales要趕快努力
考完再遵照Luxe的名言"好好獎勵自己"
you know...我爸媽從來不會對我這麼說 :)

今年我也要再去滑雪耶
去年寒假去過一次就上癮了,很好玩的
雪衣雪褲是一定要的,但其實初學者也不必下重金投資
一般厚一點,能防水的運動外套及運動褲就可以了
裡面再穿毛衣或毛褲就能足夠保暖,還有別忘了滑雪手套及goggle
我覺得從LA出發的話,Mt. Height或許比Big bear是更近更方便的選擇喔

對了,在另一個Luella話題裡看見有人提起包包以model名字作稱呼
再補充除了Luella的Gisele以外,Kate, Anouck, Carmen
還有一款Liya (曾經出現在展示會上但不知道為什麼沒有發售)
加上MJ春夏一系列新的包包
個人覺得這種命名法真是太可愛了
PS. 我也很喜歡Angela :)

paris的照片有點驚嚇說 .....他還是適合金髮造型啦

最近想努力的留話因為要過節哩好像話多點會比較熱鬧 ... 況且這是個很open的版大家想說什麼就說什麼吧..也歡迎新朋友加入啦千萬不要被標題嚇到哩並非是國外得朋友才能參加討論 . ...除了fashion 我們也會涉及旅遊美食八卦 ......

就像是姊妹們的下午茶那樣 ..什麼都說唷.
LA這邊有一羣雖說是有固定集會 . .(嗯但是我們並不研習什麼名家書法或是茶道之類. . 是以玩樂為主)
但是也還是很希望和不在這邊的水水們分享生活中的點滴..

I didn`t know they have all anouck and carmen...ahhh.. now I wanna buy carmen too
don`t u think carmen kass looks like a kitty cat?

and I love Angela too, she`s so pretty

my all time fav model is Jessica Miller though, hopefully they`ll have a "Jessica" haha

maybe they`ll have Gemma soon

I like Heather Marks a lot too

talking about skiing, every year at this time, I always tell myself, ok, I gotta learn how to ski this year and buy all the chanel skiing accessories, but I never did :P

Yeah isn`t it cute that they name bags after models? :) This reminds me that this past weekend I saw someone carrying a yellow leather carmen shoulder bag (the one on Carmen Kass on runway, not sure if it`s python or just plain leather?). Very cute! And yes she does look like a kitty cat, she`s just so cool.

My favorite models are Tiiu Kuik and Caitriona Balfe (Yeah I love pale and skinny models @__@). I`m pretty sure someone would come up with a Gemma bag soon, haha.

Caitriona is really pretty too
Tiiu look so elegant
I love her so much, shame that she didn`t have too many campaigns this year

想不到遇上同好講到酒我可是每次出門一定會在liguor store買酒回hotel喝
在東京喝清酒也好在紹興喝太雕酒也好不過就是Canada的ice wine是屬於dessert wine. 有特別的風味

今年我第一次在Black Friday起個大早去shopping. 果真有大打折
還是早起的鳥兒有蟲吃
只看見大家面有倦容超修無邊幅的出門覺得真好玩畢竟是一個fun experience. 不過很sleepy....
買到Marc Jacob的外套算是最大的收穫吧超愛的...
I love shopping!!! YEAH~~
