兄弟姐妹的綠卡別是F4要等爆久的，因為每年有名額限制，只有直系血親的F1是比較快的，結婚的話我不知道囉...還早咧..:P

You can still go back to Taiwan as long as you have advanced parole.......

我也是依親的,等了十年,在21歲前幾個月拿到的.也就是三年前,我來報到一次,然後過半年又來一次以後,就沒有再來過,直到今年初我就來這邊住了.我有用在學證明辦白皮書,證明我需要在台灣完成學業所以不能每半年來一次,不過今年初我進美國的時候,根本沒有被問也沒有檢查白皮書就進來了.我一來就在我家附近的community college上課,因為我研究所還要等六個月學期才開始,所以我先去college上課,那個college就直接給我用居民的學分費,但是我現在的學校比較嚴格,我因為還不住滿一年,我還是繳非居民的學費,我現在在申請第二學期要居民的身分繳學費,如果還是要用非居民,那我真不想念了啦,好貴喔

我們家也有辦,可是還沒等到,現在好像才8年吧,我媽說要等10年左右,可是為什麼要21歲前呢?我已經21了耶>"<...不會要放棄吧...

我是依親辦的呀，
自從我拿到率卡我就住在這了
大概每半年回去一次
回去都差不多三個月或一個月(暑假寒假)
有一次我待在台灣三個月多
入海關時
還被叼了一下
說怎麼那麼久
我就說:奶奶去世被喪事辦了很久
也沒事了
我一拿到綠卡
就到社區大學讀書
拿的是居民的學費
沒有簽I20
後來轉到私立大學
可以申請補助金
一年拿一萬多美金喔
(真的很不錯)
你有沒有辦白皮書呀？
我爸也有辦
不過
他是說應該是放棄了

不能入境美國，好像AIT不會給你美簽！

我之前在等綠卡時
有辦過一次美簽
還待了六個月
不過你在辦美簽時
有一項是問到你有在申請綠卡嗎？
一定要誠實回答喔
我姐就是因為這樣
沒過美簽
(她當時不知道，之後跟美國人吵才過)

妳有拿到residential card嗎？現在我都被搞混了. 我一位認識的人也是嫁過來這兩年, 她只有拿到residential card, have to renew each year, 五年後直接考公民或拿永久綠卡....可是我只有聽到她這樣, 我另一位朋友說因為她是從菲律賓來的, 方式不一樣....現在到底是怎樣?

Dear 740407,

It`s not hard at all....You can get a multipul entry advance parole in 30 days and it will last for a year. It cost somewhere around 100-120 USD.

I think residential card is green card. My friend whose husband is also American got her green card 2 weeks ago. She has to renew it after 3 or 5 years (perhaps the INS just wants to make sure that it`s not a fake marriage). She got married last Oct. in CA and she got it already while I`m still waiting for mine(I got married last Aug. in Chicago). Anyways, let me know if there is anything I can help.

Thank you for your information.

My friend from Philippine, her residential card is different from my the other friend`s green card and she has to renew it "every" year, not after 3 or 5 years. Really weird...

I got married this March...one of my frineds told me I will get it this year...I hope so...He told me because election is coming so INS will speed up their process to get some votes. hahhah~Good luck to both of us ^^

我知道的白皮書是指...
通常每半年都要報到一次,不過你可以去申請白皮書,證明你在台灣有工作或是在就學,不方便回美,如此一來,兩年內不需要回去報到

知道的有限,有不足或是錯誤的地方還請大家指正囉

Hello khuang001,

I got the interview 2 days ago and went well! Actually, they didn`t ask many questions at all.

How about you? Did you get the interview yet?

They said I`m going to get my temp green card about a month or so...I`m so excited and can`t wait to go back to Taiwan. ^^
